My blog posts were mostly random and often conceited stories or ramblings that wasted both my time and the time of those who read them.

Mutemath Armistice Review

Mutemath's self titled debut album was a truly great album that relied on catchy hooks and melodies that were present, up front, and strongly supported. with the musical success of this album it left a lot of anticipation for the next one, Armistice. Once everyone had played every track on the first album, they hungered for more, and weren't expecting such a vastly different and disappointing album.
Mutemath's style has generally been focused in the contemporary and main-stream amusement. With this new album you can tell that they have been so focused on being different and experimental that they have forgotten who they are and what it is that makes their music so appealing. They sometimes grasp for their old sound in tracks like "The Nerve" and "Backfire" by slapping a dancy or catchy drumbeat on their songs that aren't dancy or catchy. This is a common problem among bands that are almost famous. the ones that open for big bands, but you have never really heard of them. You can't expect a song to be catchy by simply having a catchy drumbeat that doesn't support the rest of the song. I think the world needs to learn this. Sidenote: Kings of Leon are an example of how drumbeats should fit into the song, and they are immensley popular.
I think the biggest disappointment I experienced when i first listened to this album was the lack of melody. Both the lyrics and the melodies are weak and most of the melodies aren't even in the vocals, but hidden in some wierd synth instrument, yet lead singer, Paul Meany, seems to push his vocals to the very front and creat a choppy pool of sound rather than a melodic piece of auditory art that you can sing along to. Sorry Mutemath.
I apologize for all of the spelling and grammar errors that are probably scattered throughout this review.

Ok, this blog will be a little controvercial (how do you spaell that)
especially since it has the same title as Hitler's book
i just realized that
anywho, this is on the subject of Miley Cyrus
i will address some common complaints about her
1. She has no talent
ok, almost fair to say, but let's see you write a number one
sure she has connections, but even with connections, you still need talent to write a song that appeals greatly to america
2. She sucks at singing
this one is just flat out wrong
i have heard her sing live and i know people who have heard her doing a sound check and she sings just as good as she does on the album
and when have you ever heard her sing off pitch?
or any other singing defaults?
3. Her voice is annoying
ok, this just opinion but i just want to say that i have never been annoyed by her voice
4. She's ugly
my response: you're gay
and in case you're wondering, my girl preferance is the only one that's right.

ok where to begin
ill try begining at the begining
im a horible speller
anywho
me and my amigos were bored and decided to have a mad cool adventure
so we decided to explore a sewer tunnel dealy
dont worry, it wasnt filled with poop or nothin'

there was just water
in which i chose not to step
so were walkin down the tunnel for like a mile and we come to an end
(imagery time)
and it ended in a body of water, but we couldn't see what kind of body of water because there was a wall in front of the part of the water that was under the end of the tunnel that we were in.

i almost passed out in the shower and got to stay home for my 1st and 3rd least favorite periods
school was just good, i liked it
i agreed that i am going to prom if i have a date
i mobbed over to Blaze and Tylers dormatorium and chilled
i got a bucket of carne asada fries
i made my middle schoolers play two hand hug and say i love you football
i blew a kiss to a guy that was giving me a "im angry with you for driving 65 on the freeway" look, funny stuff
i purchased a Hannah Montanna flavored geetar for guitar class
ok most of all i applied a really good lesson
its about being yourself
i learned it yesterday as God pulled me out of a short deppression
if you're not being yourself, you wont be treated like yourself
and it took me getting told that i am not eligible for dating by the girl i cared for the most
but im so effin glad she did that because now i've some of the best life lessons ever

actually let me tell you some backround info
so me and my friends are sittin, you know being cool
and all of the sudden i see this freshman who looks like he is like six years old sitting by himself
so im all lik, "hey come sit with us, we like to party"
so he came and sat with us and has been rediculously annoying ever since
we call him toaster because we would all like to hit him upside the head with a toaster
but not like you think
i mean swing it by the cord and just hit his face really hard with a toaster
haha
and as ya'll know (I think) i am in need of a crappy guitar for guitar class
so i was all lik, "hey toaster can i buy your guitar
and he was like, "how much"
and i said, " uhh" i looked in my wallet, "Fourty"

so he gives it to me and he, suprised that i actually have so much money, takes the fourty dolla billz

the thing about doing things like that is its a gamble
like if you don't go far enough, you just come off retarded (exe. saying hi to a stranger in a fashion that you might think is funny, but isn't)
or if you take it too far, you are wierd (exe.... uhh i dont know.. i guess like going up to a stranger and like rubbing crotch really sensually)
so the key is to aim for the happy medium (exe. woo tunnel)
or the waaaaaaaaay, and i mean way too far (exe. most of the things on jackass)

alright so today was a little different
i upped the butt slap factor to virtually every male that went through
we were also told to be quiet by a nearby teacher
one kid tried to act all tough by pushing us as he walked through
but as soon as he pushed me i pushed him back about 13 times as hard into a fence
then he walked away and was like, "whatever, you guys are faggots"
and we all laughed at his pain
this one huge black guy walked through and i spanked him pretty hard and he looked back with the most confused face i have ever seen
